10yr old Shephard "Zep" waiting in kennel at shelter

This very sweet older dog named Zep has been at the Wake County Animal Shelter waiting for a new family to rescue him. He is 10 years old and so gentle and sweet. This boy deserves more than to be in a kennel all alone. Zep loves his human friends and waits to go on his walks every day. He has alot of life and love to offer. Zep would make a great walking buddy or TV companion. I'm sure he would sit at your feet while you work from home and probably will sleep alot during the day. He is very well mannered and keeps his kennel very clean. If you have room in your home and heart for another, please consider this sweet fella. Note that he is heartworm positive and will need to be treated, but I can personally round up funds to help.
