My name is Alex Avakian and I am the owner of an accessible construction company called 3 Birds Accessibility (www.3BirdsAccessibility.com). We are based in Pittsburgh, PA and are starting to franchise on the east coast. I have an opportunity to do an accessible bathroom in Los Angeles in the next 1-2 months and am looking to hire an LA based contractor to do this job under the 3 Birds brand as a test run in the LA market. If a positive relationship can form, I will happily invest marketing efforts into generating more LA jobs, for you, and growing a brand in LA! We can do absolutely everything except the physical work. If you are used to doing bathroom remodels, accessible construction is vey easy. It is also very rewarding. You can use your skills to give an elderly or disabled person the ability to function in their home safely again. All materials will be sourced by us, and our company has a pricing and franchise system already in place to make things smooth and easy into the future. I will be in LA in ~2-4 weeks to conduct interviews. -THE JOB- See attached pictures of bathroom and see scope of work below. Pay is a fixed price for the scope of work for labor and raw materials only (~$9,000). Willing to do more for the right person. Call to discuss pay terms and further details. I will be staying in LA for the entire duration of the job once we start until it is finished. SOW: 1. Demo bathroom including floors and tiled shower area. Leave drywalled walls in tact. 2. Install barrier free or low profile pre made shower pan. Update the plumbing with a new shower diverter valve using PEX for new lines. Tile the pan. Tile the shower walls area with provided tile. Grout. 3. Install a new wall mount sink. Update plumbing valves, adjust plumbing if necessary. Install new faucet. 4. Install a new comfort height toilet. 5.
