Summary The Warehouse Specialist is critical to the success of the distribution team and provides the highest levels of customer service by performing all shipping and receiving activities ensuring our customers receive the correct product(s) in a timely manner. This individual must be organized, reliable and diligent as he/she is responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, auditing, handling, shipping and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly state at all times. Qualifications • High School Diploma/GED • 2+ years experience in a high-volume warehouse • Must be heat- & dust-tolerant (able to work 8 hours a day in a warehouse environment, in central Florida, in the summertime) • Comfortable with heights up to 15-feet • Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted • Visual acuity and ability to accurately read/transcribe long part numbers • Proficiency in shipping a high volume of orders via USPS, UPS and FedEx • Experience with ShipStation, eComdash, and/or Amazon Seller Central a plus Key Skills • Organizational Skills • Time Management • Spatial Orientation • Written/Verbal Communication • Problem Solving • Basic Math Skills • Attention to Detail Job Duties and Responsibilities • Use ShipStation to process online orders, create pick lists and print shipping labels. • Locate inventory in the warehouse and utilize packaging best practices to prepare all orders for shipment to customers based on packing slip notes and selected shipping methods. • When needed, measure the product shipping weight and dimensions and enter data into various tools/applications/programs as needed. • Complete Quality Checks of all outgoing customer orders to ensure verify the part number, quantity and description of all items by comparing physical product(s) with packing slips. • Schedule carrier pick-up as needed (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other freight carriers). • Conduct cycle counts and on-demand physical inventory checks to ensure accurate quantities of all products across all internal inventory management systems. • Track inbound shipments and schedule/receive inventory coming into the warehouse from vendors and/or manufacturing facilities, verifying contents, quantities and condition of all incoming items. • Restock shelves and maintain overstock as needed, properly maintaining all products in an organized and readily available condition. • Label products (with applicable product model numbers and UPC codes) when needed. • Ensure accurate warehouse data for all products. • Create FBA shipping plans and prepare products for shipment to Amazon fulfillment centers. • Run and review various inventory reports and troubleshoot issues as needed. • Maintain sufficient quantities of shipping materials and order warehouse supplies as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, as well as securing all warehouse doors (including docking bays) at close of business. • Other tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisor.
