Driver wanted to drive mainly in Manhattan, surrounding areas. We have an office in Manhattan and a warehouse that is moving to Englewood NJ. You will primarily be based in Englewood NJ. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Main vehicle is a Ford F750 26 feet rack truck with a rack body and dumping ability. Secondary vehicles are an Ford F550 24 feet rack truck, and Chevy 18 feet dump truck. We also have a small Telehandler and a Forklift 3-5 years minimum experience driving trucks. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A TRUCK. This cannot be faked this so please don't apply if you cannot drive a truck very well. We have had people come to an interview only to pretend to drive a truck and fail the road test immediately wasting everyone's time. Good communication skills, punctual and good keeping records. - You need to keep daily records of your pickups and deliveries. You need to keep a truck log. You need to take pictures of sites and be good at reporting your location. Showing up on time, and being at work every day is critical. Knowing the trucks and the condition of the vehicles every day before you drive is first priority. Clean license, driving record and background will be checked. -We cannot hire you if you have any thefts from previous employers or a dangerous driving record. Salary $26/ hr and company iPhone or Android or $55/month phone reimbursement if you have an unlimited major carrier phone plan. 1 week paid vacation per year you can take after first six months. Chance for weekly overtime. Looking for immediate hire. CDL is great and preferred but not needed. Forklift training is a big plus. Spanish fluency is a big plus.
