Full-time maintenance person needed Monday through Friday. 2 shifts are available, either 6AM-2PM or 1PM to 9PM. Work environment is a corporate law firm in Midtown West. Candidate must possess high level of professionalism as you will be in daily contact with lawyers and corporate executives. Please note this is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. There are no health or medical benefits or paid time off offered with this position. Please note, candidates must successfully complete an FBI fingerprint criminal background check. Required skills include the following: * Maintenance experience preferably in a corporate work environment * General cleaning (includes dusting, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, sanitizing, etc). * Some handyman experience; minor furniture assembly/disassembly * Able to climb ladder to change lightbulbs * Able to work independently on multiple floors and manage time accordingly * Some general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, A/V or other trades a plus but not required * Handle tasks as assigned throughout the day Daily tasks may include the following : * setting up and breaking down conference rooms for daily meetings * setting up pantry areas (coffee & tea) in AM * changing lightbulbs * escorting vendors * moving shredder bins * assemble furniture * A/V power table setup * stocking inventory * general repairs and maintenance * report to facilities manager General Requirements: * Must be professional, reliable, self sufficient, and skilled * Must be able to take direction, manage time, and complete tasks throughout the day * Must be able to speak and understand fluent English * Must be able to work professionally and according to protocol in a corporate business environment * If vaccinated, must supply proof of vaccination (vaccination card) to employer To Apply: *All candidates must be US citizens * All candidates will be fingerprinted and must undergo an FBI criminal background check * If qualified, please email a copy of your resume for consideration
