Williamsburg Bread Is seeking a qualified Bread Route Delivery Driver to service commercial retailers, restaurants, supermarkets as well small market businesses in the Queens/brooklyn area Hours fluctuate as our business is dictated by market changes. Employees are compensated by check weekly. Our hiring rate starts at $800 for our standard 4-day work week. Valid candidates must start work promptly at 3am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (work days will fluctuate, with notice, around holidays/vacations/business requirements) have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record operate box trucks and lift gates safely in accordance with local law and company specifications have a functioning phone and the ability to communicate through calls and text messaging, including sharing images. work as a solo operator or part of a team as workload, seasonal requirements and route changes dictate Have working day schedule and task flexibility, as clients needs fluctuate, hours vary daily run either of 2 routes alone if necessary follow written and verbal instructions in english with ease repetitively lift 10-30lbs make expeditious decisions perform tasks in a timely manner securely collect and keep organized, physical money as well as checks and receipts conduct themselves in a decent manner and keep a hygienic appearance keep work truck in an orderly fashion Will be trained to compile delivery orders based on customer needs use handheld computers for processing deliveries, returns and pricing merchandise properly based on weekly sales.
