If you want to learn how to play the fun way, then I am for you. I make learning how to play guitar or the bass easy and effective. I am the singer/guitarist/songwriter for the NYC rock group, Damn Glad. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. I will teach you chords, strumming, rhythm, timing, picking, fingerpicking, lead solo, capo, and songwriting techniques in a short period of time. My approach is simple and effective. I will show you proper techniques and break some bad habits. I also get into the mental aspect and approach of playing. I teach guitar, bass, drums and vocals as well. I have a roster of private students and I have been the Music Director for the Rock Band program at Camp Wayne for Girls in PA. I teach group classes as well. References provided upon request. My rate is $40 for 30 minutes, $50 for 45 minutes and $60 per hour and will come to your home.
