Are you reliable, hard-working, and skilled at troubleshooting maintenance issues? Do you have experience solving minor electrical and plumbing problems? Come join our team!
We are looking for someone to take responsibility for maintenance of our buildings and grounds. This position requires hands-on experience. You will be the person everyone turns to when something isn’t working, and you need to have the ability to identify the problem and make repairs. When you’re not fixing something, you’ll be looking for ways to make things run more smoothly and prevent problems.
What we will ask you to do:
General repairs and maintenance
Carpentry projects
Repairing damaged drywall and installing sheetrock
Minor electrical work, such as replacing lighting fixtures, switches and receptacles, and troubleshooting
Minor plumbing, such as replacing faucets and toilets, repairing and installing pvc, and troubleshooting
Painting
Outside projects, such as installing fencing and some landscaping projects
What you will need to have:
Ability to use a range of tools, both manual and power
Solid mechanical trouble-shooting skills
Experience with electrical and plumbing
Attention to detail
Ability to follow directions and to perform tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Solid work ethic and trustworthiness
Ability to work independently
Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to get to/from work, to our different locations, and for errands
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:00, on call for emergencies
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour with paid holidays
