Be a Solheim Cup Community Champion! You are invited to the Solheim Cup Community Champions Night! As a valued member and trusted voice of the Toledo community, we need your help to spread the word about the upcoming Solheim Cup tournament and Opening Ceremonies. The Solheim Cup is a golf tournament for professional women golfers with teams representing Europe and the United States. Europe and the United States take turns holding the biennial tournament with the storied Inverness Club hosting from September 4-6 this year. The course will be live with action during the day with the off-course festivities taking place in downtown. The Solheim Cup Opening Ceremonies Fan Fest will feature live performances from three-time Grammy Award winner Gwen Stefani on September 3rd and country musician Chris Young on September 4th in Promenade Park. Join the event hosts for an evening of fun, networking and education on all the exciting things happening in the city around the Solheim Cup. We will have designated photo spots with photographers and the Solheim Cup trophy. Wear your red, white, and blue! 6:00 – 6:45 – Network and check out the pavilion at the new Glass City Metropark 6:45 – 7:15 – Hosts will share activities and opportunities available for all Toledoans
