Local Metairie production facility has IMMEDIATE PRODUCTION available. Weekly pay. Overtime possible Schedule is: Day shift - Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm Night shift - Sunday - Thursday 3pm - completion The primary function of the Production Team Member is to produce quality products for resale to include sandwiches and other gourmet items. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Product knowledge to assist sales persons; specifically ingredients and processes used in production Estimate ingredients needs based on purchase order requirements Maintaining a clean and clear work area General cleaning and use of sanitizers Recording time and temperatures of items used during the production process Using down or slow periods to organize and maintain work areas Communicate with supervisors for needs and issues that may arise Maintain proper working order of all tools and equipment within the production area REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years old Must be a US Citizen or able to work within the United States Must have reading and math skills for recipe conversions Must have good communication skills Must be able to lift 30 pounds occasionally Must be able to stand for long periods of time Transportation Experience is not required.
