It is with a heavy heart that I have to rehome my redfooted tortoise. I am moving across the country, back to the city, and she can not come with me. There is a rehoming fee, it is not cheap (please do a google search before getting in touch) but I will be willing to make a pretty good deal for anyone who already has a redfooted tortoise. She is 10"/12" and about as heavy as a bowling ball, she eats fresh fruit and vegetables, she is about 15 years old and will probably live to be 50 in good conditions. She needs a large, outdoor habitat in the summer and a good place to go inside (with a heat lamp) for the winter. I will not be giving her to anyone who doesn't know what they are getting in to, I was that person and wish someone would have explained to me how much care goes in to keeping an animal like this.
