Description
Walk the Wards are a great way to improve your health, enjoy your neighborhood or explore a new one, meet people and get connected.
The Cleveland Department of Aging is sponsoring a walk in each of the city wards this summer. You can take these "Fitness Friday” walks at your own pace but with the support of others. All participants will receive a Senior Walk t-shirt and a Resource bag. New this year, receive your Passport to the Parks at your first walk. Attend five (5) or more walks this summer and you will be entered into a raffle.
This Ward 4 walk will be at Zelma Watson George Resource and Recreation Center at 3155 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. We will meet up at the track.
We will be following all Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocols for safety.
Look for the Department of Aging Staff in orange t-shirts at each location.
To register, please contact the Department of Aging at 216-664-4383 or [email protected] or by registering via eventbrite.
By registering ahead of time, you will be notified if the walk is cancelled due to inclement weather.
There is no cost to attend.
