Celebrate the Fourth of July with Althea Center as Nancy Driver explores the steps to living free and authentically you! Join Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality for our Fourth of July Sunday Gathering. All are welcome! When: Sunday, July 4, 10:30 - 11:45 am MT *Doors will open at 10:15 am & RSVP is appreciated, but not required. There are so many impediments to being our authentic selves. Join Althea Center this Sunday on July 4th as Nancy shares stories and explores steps to living authentically, to living a life of freedom. In honor of Independence Day, what better topic than Freedom! Freedom can bring out the best of our humanity. We'll also have amazing music by Native American flutists: Peter Wolf & Tom Faber! All are welcome to join this heart-opening Sunday! Nancy Driver Nancy Driver lives with her two dogs in Lakewood, Colorado, and has quite an eclectic background. She was a water scientist for decades and then developed the leadership, mentoring, and coaching programs for the U.S. Geological Survey. Along the way, she became a practitioner and minister for a New Thought church. She now runs her Life Coaching business, trains dogs to become Service Dogs, and is a Prayer Partner at Althea. She loves the outdoors and is inspired by Mother Nature. She has committed her life to spiritual awareness and personal growth. Peter Wolf Peter Wolf is a Colorado native with six sisters and one brother. He is a licensed Spiritual Practitioner at Mile Hi Church and attends the Althea Center frequently. He has performed on the Native American flute at New Thought churches and events in Colorado, Costa Rica, and Mexico. He is also a professional actor in the Colorado and New Mexico region. Tom Faber Tom played piano, ukulele, guitar, and trombone as a youth, picking up Native American Style Flute in 2014 after years away from music. Now retired, Tom is a Volunteer Park Ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park, current host of the Mile High Flute Circle, teaches Native American Style flute privately and at Colorado Free University. However, everyone should be respectful of individuals who may wish to continue wearing masks, keep socially distanced, and avoid hugs. If you have questions, please email Sarma at [email protected]. She will forward them to Board member Dr. Charlie Foster who works in the medical profession and received immediate CDC guidelines as they changed. He has been our guiding light to make tough decisions about Althean’s safety during this challenging time.
