Abbreviated Lifeguard Training course that briefly reviews course information and allows the practice of skills and knowledge before testing Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is required to participate in the review course. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding and First Aid/CPR/AED for the Professional which is valid for two years. PRE-COURSE SWIM TEST: Thursday, July 8 5P - 6P LIFEGUARD TRAINING: Friday, July 16 8:30A - 6:30P PREREQUISITES: * Must hold a current Lifeguard Certification * Pass the Pre-Course Swim Test: 300-yard swim of good breaststroke and/or freestyle * Brick test (20-yard swim, retrieve a 10# brick from 7 ft of water, swim 20 yards back w/brick) * Tread water for 2-minute without the use of hands/arms All candidates will be required to fill out a participation and Safety Training waiver and Code of Conduct before class begins. If under the age of 18, parents or guardians must sign for the minor. Each participant will receive their own PPE upon the start of the class (CPR mask and disposal gloves); however, due to the shortage of medical gloves, you may be asked to bring your own close-fitting gloves that can get wet like Gorilla Gloves or gardening type gloves. These will make a great substitute for training. PAYMENT OPTIONS: 1. PAY IN PERSON: Print the confirmation email received and bring it with you to the club to complete your registration. 2. PAYMENTS OVER PHONE: Should you choose to make a payment over the phone, you will be contacted at the number you provide within 48 hours to process your payment. 3. CHARGE TO ACCOUNT: Members may charge the registration fee to their account if they are the main account holder and have a credit card on file. You will be contacted if there are any issues with processing. Once payment is processed, a confirmation email will be emailed to the email address provided.
