Walker County From The Judds to the Dixie Chicks and the Carter Family itself, country music’s history is steeped in and rife with family duos, bands and groups. Warner Music Nashville sister duo Walker County adds to that ‘family tradition’ with blood-thick harmonies and solid musicianship. Born and raised in rural Sulphur Springs, Indiana, sisters Ivy Dene (lead vocals) and Sophie Dawn (percussion and harmony) have been performing almost as long as they can remember. Sophie’s hard-driving rhythms and Ivy’s strutting, soulful vocals create a unique blend of country music that was inspired by the sounds of middle America they grew up on. And now, having spent years honing their skills, Walker County is ready to carry on the heritage of country music with their modern-traditional blend. The 2020 CMT Listen Up and Next Women of Country artists started rolling out new music in the fall, showcasing both their range and true-to-themselves style in feisty rocker “Shovel,” wistful reflection “Drag It Out” and upbeat ode to loving relationships “Someone’s Someone.” They’re kicking off 2021 with the bright pop country of “Bits & Pieces,” their major-label debut single, as they prepare for a breakout year. Joining the Walker girls in the concert will be The Bramlett Brothers, Johnny Dailey and Makenzie Joshua and Jarob Bramlett grew up in Henry County, are founding members of the internationally touring hard rock band The Protest, and are longtime family friends of Walkers. Though Rock music is their vocation and passion, the boys grew up listening to Folk, Alt-Country and Americana music and the genres hold a very special place in their hearts. Thus, in 2019 the Bramlett Brothers began playing said styles live for fun and have a blast doing so when they are not touring. His cousin’s truck was the place Johnny Dailey first discovered his love of Country music. From the early days listening to songs in that pickup to coming of age and receiving his first acoustic guitar as a gift from his dad, his destiny was all but set in stone. Following high school, the Trussville, AL, native moved to Charleston, SC, where he honed his performance chops playing original songs up and down the city’s infamous King Street. Nashville quickly took notice, leading the country singer-songwriter, his wife Michelle and their two sons Cooper and Masey to Music City. “I grew up loving country music,” says Johnny, who signed his first publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music in 2019. “I’ve always had a desire to tell my story through song and have it connect with people in some way. Songs have always been a source of comfort for me and I’ve always wanted to sing songs that provide that comfort for other people. It’s a good feeling when you know someone else has been in your shoes.” Now with the release of his debut single “Burns Like Whiskey” (Dailey, Aaron Eshuis and Jimi Bell) with Eshuis as producer, Johnny is carving a spot for himself on Music Row with his anthemic, feel-good brand of Country music. Look for “Burns Like Whiskey” and more upcoming music from the rising Country star. When he’s not writing and performing in Nashville, Johnny enjoys spending time on his family’s farm, making furniture, taking trips to Charleston and surfing.www.johnnydaileymusic.com www.facebook.com/johnnydailey www.instagram.com/johnnydailey www.twitter.com/johnnydailey Makenzie SchrinerAt just 21 days old L.A. native Makenzie Schriner found himself in the arms of Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Universal Pictures set filming “Junior.” The singer-songwriter and self proclaimed hopeless romantic has streamlined his experiences from life on and off the stage to write songs that are heartfelt, genuine, and reminiscent of summer. A country foundation with an influence of pop and vintage sonic, the musician at heart writes guitar and vocal melodies that divulge his prowess as a musician, yet uncover unique vocals. At just 9 years old the 6th generation fiddle player played his first show. By 13 he was playing the fiddle, guitar, harmonica, drums, and bass, as well as writing songs he performed with his family band. After graduating High School he moved from Colorado to Nashville, Tennessee, where he connected with Brad Paisley's first manager, Jimmy Gilmer, and quickly discovered his niche as a touring musician. In 2016 he found himself playing Guitar and Fiddle in the band of American Idol Alumni Josh Gracin until his next opportunity arose with Sony/Arista artist Carlton Anderson in ’18. As a musician Makenzie has played for The Swon Brothers, Netflix's Coffey Anderson, Josh Mirenda, Walker County etc. In August ‘20 Schriner released his first single “Kiss Another Girl”, followed by the endearing “Pretty”. “Had A Shot” is his latest, and is now streaming!
