Production/Warehouse Assistant - 4 day work week!

Immediate Opening! Four-day work week! Tainio Biologicals, Inc., a small family business (14 employees), is looking for a Production Assistant to add to our team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the process of blending natural agricultural products and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, be dependable, well organized, and detail oriented. Working hours: 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday through Thursday Benefits: Paid time off; bonuses; holiday pay; dental, health, and life insurance; Costco membership Pay: TBD, based on experience and training required RESPONSIBILITIES: - Mixing and packaging products - Cleaning and labeling bags; preparing orders for shipment - Assisting shipping department in receiving and processing of orders - Maintain a clean and orderly environment by keeping shelves and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop - Maintains inventory controls by recording amounts of materials received or distributed through a computer - Equipment cleaning, maintenance, and documentation - Wear the proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures - Forklift and tractor training available QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to continuously stand or walk, bend, squat, or crouch and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and perform repetitive motion with hands, fingers, and arms - Ability to frequently climb a 10-step rolling safety ladder - Willingness to work in a dusty environment; Production areas require scrubs, dust-filtration masks, safety goggles, and gloves - Good written and oral communication skills - Good math skills - Good computer and internet skills - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skill. - Ability to work as part of team while exhibiting the necessary leadership and initiative to successfully implement his/her primary responsibilities - Neat, organized, and detail-oriented - A desire to become an expert on company products
