Kimpton x Literary Hub Presents: A Conversation with Meredith Talusan, Author of Fairest, at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi - June 30th 2021. Join us for an intimate event as we talk with author Meredith Talusan about her critically acclaimed memoir Fairest over a glass of wine. Follow Meredith’s journey from a childhood in the Philippines to her life as a gay man at Harvard and her eventual transition. Meredith will be joined in conversation by Literary Hub’s Calvin Kasulke, a trans writer based in Brooklyn whose debut novel, Several People Are Typing, will be released later this summer. Fairest is at once a compelling personal story and absorbing meditation on the complexity of cultural and gender identity. As part of its seasonal book club, Literary Hub and Kimpton selected this powerful text timed to Pride Month to help amplify LGBTQ+ voices and stories.
