Lairmont Manor in Fairhaven is looking for a groundskeeper to join our hard working and dedicated crew. Primary responsibilities include: + Landscaping, outdoor care of manor and estate - heavy duty work + Some maintenance, repairs and painting + Some Event setup, parking and cleaning Experience with the following is REQUIRED: + Power and gardening tools (blower, weed wacker, hedge trimmer, etc.) + Driving large trucks, pulling trailers + Ability to load and stack logs + Some maintenance, painting and handiwork The role we are hiring for is primarily manual labor. Gardening, watering, weeding, pruning, painting, sweeping, lifting, hauling, edging and all the labor involved in caring for the Lairmont Manor estate grounds and making sure they are perfect for our events. You would report to our master gardener who makes all landscape decisions. Along with the garden portion of the job, there is set up of heavy tables, chairs and other furniture for all events. Also some cleaning and miscellaneous tasks as needed. The groundskeepers work hard day to day behind the scenes to maintain the grounds for hundreds of celebrations and thousands of photos!
