Bassist Needed - Original band As Seen From Space

Bassist needed for the original, psychedelic, improvisational, instrumental rock band As Seen From Space. Stylistically varied, the music contains elements of jam rock, jazz/rock fusion, prog rock, new age, "heavy but not metal", a little 80's chime all with a bluesy overtone. I am the guitarist and composer. We perform as a trio, bass, drums and guitar. My drummer of the last several years is back on board, fully vaccinated and ready to start up again. We have moved back to our shared space in Arlington. Before Covid we were starting to gig fairly regularly at the usual Boston/Cambridge/Somerville original music clubs and on our way to make "radio-ready" recordings of the music. We worked with TinyOak Booking and with my friend's Pink Floyd tribute Purple Moon. We already have a gig booked with Purple Moon on July 3rd at Sammy's Patio in Revere, hoping to be ready by then. We're getting down to the wire, so if any of you "sub" guys are interested, even if it's just to play the gig, please contact us. At this point, you wouldn't have to learn our material, we would just do some simple chord progression jams or "one chord" funk jams. The whole show including Purple Moon's set is there, they went on first, we come on at about 1:20. Not looking for beginners, please have gigging experience, decent chops and equipment, the ability to improvise and the desire to be creative, work on original music. Not concerned about age, sex, appearance. I am a "mature" player to say the least. I have a bass amp at the studio, so no need to lug your own. 420 friendly, light alcohol OK, a sense of humor a must, but please no serious "bad habits" or drama. Any interested keyboardists, guitarists and vocalists are welcome to check this out also, but my primary focus is to find a bassist and get the trio going again.
