Maintenance Runner and Trash - Vacation Rentals - FT - $16+ per hr

We are a new and growing vacation rental management company that manages a large number of vacation rental homes on the island and we are looking for a Maintenance Runner that is a motivated, self-starter with a positive, problem-solving attitude. We are looking for the right long-term person that can grow with our company and be here for the long-run and take ownership of the role and responsibilities. The job includes assisting our maintenance team as needed with supplies and parts, minor maintenance repairs (paint touch-up, furniture assembly fix clogged toilet), pulling trash cans out to the street on Sunday nights and back in on Mondays, conducting mid-week trash takeaway at larger homes, assisting housekeeping with linen pickup and drop off, bringing items out to guests during their stay, and other tasks as assigned. The required days and hours align with our guests and when the position will be most needed. A truck or large SUV is required and living on island is highly preferred. We are growing quickly and looking for people that hustle like we do, to add to our team. We can offer a full-time position and depending on a number of factors like experience, performance, and schedule, we can offer $16 per hour plus gas reimbursement, with raises and bonuses to be discussed. No prior experience is needed. We are looking for someone that is energetic, reliable, and can take responsibilities and run with them and we can teach everything else you'd need to know. A truck is required for this position, as you will need to use our trailer to collect excess trash, collect dirty linens from cleaners and drop off at a central location. This job requires lifting heavy bags. If you want to hustle and work, you can work 7 days a week, must work a minimum of 5 days a week.
