Join the Jewish Outdoors Club for a New Hampshire Getaway Party! Enjoy Swimming, Hiking, Water Parks, Leisure, Vacation & cool sightseeing! JOC NEW HAMPSHIRE GETAWAY PARTY!!! July 5-9 (Mon-Friday) Format (delete this section) • Quick Synopsis on Event • Schedule • Lodging • Cost: (we aren’t collecting money in advance. Everyone will cover their own costs more or less outlined below) o Hotel: We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard in Concord NH (best location where we can choose a brand name hotel). Currently $566 for the week for the room (two Queen beds) but price changes periodically. You will book with the hotel directly. If you need help finding a roommate, please feel free to reach out. o Carpooling: Carpooling $100 p/ person for the week (if less than 3 passengers aka 4 participants including the driver, then prorate accordingly). Please only book carpooling once you have a confirmed hotel stay. o Food (up to you!) We aren’t organizing food. But we will make stops along the way to supermarkets/targets/Walmart… etc. with Kosher options). o Attractions Everyone will cover their own attractions cost (up to you) We aren’t collecting money in advance. If need roommate or has a roommate that’s signing up with them or want to be alone). We will be leaving July 5th and coming back July 9th enjoying all New Hampshire has to offer with some outdoor summer fun! Activities include hiking, swimming, ziplining, and even real live bears (OH MY!) Be sure to sign up through the Eventbrite link below and make sure you answer the rooming and carpooling questions so we can facilitate! SCHEDULE We are traveling on July 5th (exact timing determined based on your carpool and depending on your arrival you can do things enroute). Our home base for the week will be in Concord NH (best choice for recognized brand name hotels). On July 9th, immediately on checkout we will head back to the city. Budget extra time for traffic to make sure you are in time for Shabbat (some of us may actually camp out for Shabbat along the way). Excursions 1. Mt Washington (Purchase NH) 2. Franconia Notch State Park (Hiking & Swimming): Basin Cascade Trail (see up Franconia Notch State Park) – 2.6 Miles, swim in turquoise pool along the trail (Lincoln NH) 4. Whales Tale Water Park (Lincoln NH) 5. Clark’s Trading Post aka the Bears (Lincoln NH) 6. Kancamagus Highway (highway Conway to Lincoln – Stop also at Sabbaday Falls) 7. Lost River Gorge & Boulders Caves (Woodstock NH) 8. Attitash Mountain Resort/Alpine Slides - Possibly opening prior to July 5th) (Bartlett NH) 9. Acro in Prescott Park (if on the way!) (Portsmouth NH) 10. Polar Caves (Rumney NH) 11. MONADNOCK STATE PARK (Jaffrey NH) 12. Mt Washington Cruise (Laconia NH) 13. Conway Scenic Railroad (Conway NH) 14. Diana’s Baths – Hiking - 1.3 miles easy, water falls/swim (Conway NH) 15. Hampton Beach (Hampton NH) 16. Zipline (Loon Mountain Resort – 250 max lbs) (Lincoln NH) 17.
