Join us for this walk-around charity and auction fundraiser to support Sonoma County's first responders through Sonoma's The Six Foundation Join Jackson Family Wines in partnership with local personality Erika Altes, better known as Whiskey & Lace, for its "Wine, Bites and Bids," a charity event and fundraiser event at La Crema Estate at Saralee’s Vineyard, to support Sonoma County’s first responders through The Six Foundation, a local nonprofit and post traumatic fitness and rehabilitation clinic serving fire fighters, first responders, police officers, and veterans, with cutting edge injury rehabilitation and behavioral health using “360 degree” treatment protocols with dedicated, committed and expertly trained professionals. Enjoy a walk-around tasting of select wines from Jackson’s Sonoma County portfolio, including La Crema, Kendall-Jackson, Copain, and Matanzas Creek, paired with small bites and gourmet appetizers from local restaurant partners KIN, Sweet T’s Restaurant + Bar, Jackson’s Bar and Oven, Oliver’s Market, Ausiello’s Bar & Grill, Grossman’s Noshery & Bar and local brewery Seismic Brewery Co. The event will feature a number of exciting silent auction lots, valued from $500 up to $10,000, including a weekend stay in West Shore Lake Tahoe that includes lift tickets to Homewood Mountain Resort, a Mayacama Golf Club package, an Olive & Rose Boutique package, private culinary and wine classes, tickets to the Kendall-Jackson Farm to Table dinner series; and a raffle to win a one-year wine club membership and more. Proceeds raised will benefit local Sonoma County first responders. The mission of The 6 Foundation is to treat and educate veterans, first responders and survivors of traumatic exposure through state of the art multi-disciplinary rehabilitation. We’ve gathered experts in sports medicine and cognitive and behavioral health to create a cohesive rehabilitative model focused on trauma-informed care. Our model acknowledges the role of post-traumatic stress injury and has comprehensive treatment solutions.
