Taste the flavor difference of two different coffee cherry processing methods.
Coffee is the seed of a fruit that grows on a small tree. There are a few different methods that are commonly used to remove the fruit in order to prepare the seed for roasting. Each of these processing methods results in distinct flavor characteristics in the finished coffee.
In this informal tasting we'll talk a bit about how coffee cherry processing works. We'll then taste and talk about two samples of our delicious Finca La Joya; one dried in the fruit, and the other dried in parchment.
No prior coffee experience necessary. Free, but advance registration is required.
