J. P. Industries, Inc. (JPI) is accepting applications for the position of Custodian at Davis Monthan, AFB, Tucson, Arizona. Duties of Custodian: • Report directly to the Crew Lead/Supervisor. • Cleaning offices inside the building by emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming floors and cleaning surfaces. • Clean and service restrooms with cleaning solutions/chemicals/disinfectants. • Ensure lobby area is neat, clean and clear of debris. • Emptying trash receptacles in and around building. • Replacing trash can liners if applicable. • Cleaning windows/glass surfaces with cleaning solutions/sponges, etc. • Notify management of any potential repairs needed/safety hazards. Schedule: • Day and Night Shifts Qualifications: • Previous custodial and grounds experience preferred. • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. • Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks. • Employment Eligibility Verification (E-Verify) is mandatory Education: • Completion of at least eighth grade education or equivalent is desired. • Must be able to effectively communicate and understand job related instructions.
