Mature female vocalist needed for recording project

Hello - I’m just beginning to select material for a new recording project. The idea is to take ancient folkloric songs from Great Britain and Appalachia and to bring this really powerful material up to date. I would would like to share the vocal duties with a female vocalist who understands the above genres, and who is willing to sing lead sometimes and backup at others. The material is by its very nature, dark and emotional, and I’m treating the musical backing almost like the audio soundtrack of a movie. The songs are actually complete stories. Eventually, I would like to play the songs live at small, intimate venues, along with some spoken word pieces. I am male and will record all the backing material myself unless you play an instrument too, which would be fantastic. A mature voice and outlook would be fantastic - the ability to sing in another language (Spanish? French?) would be great, but isn’t required. The real requirement is to capture the intensity of the material. Thanks.
