Press release from the City of Waukesha: June 28, 2021 Waukesha Metro Transit (METRO) will not operate Waukesha Metro bus or Metrolift service on Sunday, July 4th (Independence Day). The Downtown Transit Center Lobby will be closed and the MCTS Gold Line  will operate its scheduled Sunday service schedule.    Services will operate as schedule on July 3rd and all services will resume as scheduled on July 5th.
