Job Overview: The Janitor is responsible for maintaining all areas including workstations, exteriors, and general areas in the facility cleaned and sanitized. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the break rooms and restrooms are maintained by working with the appropriate departments to order supplies. Responsibilities and Duties: ● Arrange and organize weekly food/ snacks delivery ● Cleans and sanitizes various surfaces throughout the interior and exterior of the facility. ● Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors as needed ● Collects and removes debris/trash into proper containers ● Cleans and disinfects toilets and replenishes supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. ● Responds to urgent situations, such as spills, that require quick action. ● Keeps track of inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and always maintains an appropriate stock. ● Notifies supervisor when major repairs, including structural issues or highly skilled tasks, are required. ● Uses pallet jack to help unload/load FedEx trailers as needed. ● Helps to bale cardboard in the baler as needed. ● Other duties as assigned Qualifications: ● 2 years of experience in Janitorial/Sanitation. ● Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred ● Demonstrated attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks ● Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required. ● Prior experience using a pallet jack.
