Your Arlington Last Updated: 27 June 2021 Written by town website UPDATED, June 26: Arlington Recreation and the Town of Arlington have announced that Reservoir Beach will be open for the summer. Enjoy Reservoir Beach as the town takes a break from its renovation process. The season begins Monday, June 28, and runs through Friday, Aug. 20. Beach hours (slightly modified from 2019) are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Meanwhile, the North Union Spray Park is closed until further notice because of a broken pipe. A town announcement June 25 said: " We are truly sorry about this and will work diligently to resolve the problem as soon as possible." Arlington Reservoir is off Lowell Street. This year, the beach includes a filtered, chlorinated swimming area, bathhouse and concession stand. The beach is supervised by certified lifeguards and other beach staff while open. Only U.S. Coast Guard lifesaving devices are allowed. Everyone over one (1) year of age must display tags to the gate attendant to be admitted to the beach area. Reservoir Beach is open to residents and non-residents. Arlington Recreation is selling season passes. Beach tags can be purchased online at ArlingtonRec.com and picked up at the beach once open or in person at the Recreation Department. during office hours.
