Come and spend a day on the bay with dozens of yachts and your brothers and sisters and their family. Enjoy lunch after sailing The Pensacola Yacht Club, chartered in 1908, is a private club for members and their guests to organized navigation, safety, and recreational water activities.  At present the Club membership is just over 600. Categories include Active/Full, Social, Corporate, Non-Resident, and Transitional/Active for those under 40’s. We also have a Junior Yacht Club program. Pensacola YC is located on a 17-acre site at the mouth of Bayou Chico at Pensacola Bay. One half of the waterfront is home to our marina housing boats up to 70 feet. The other half of the waterfront is a white sand beach that is perfect for launching Optimist dinghies, 470’s, Lasers, catamarans and other small boats. We have ample dry storage space for trailered boats, a power hoist and a launching ramp. Pensacola YC is a charter member of the Gulf Yachting Association (GYA) and members of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs and US Sailing Association. Active Members have reciprocal privileges at yacht clubs throughout Florida, all along the Gulf Coast and in many southeast cities with GYA lake-based yacht clubs. Pensacola YC sailors have distinguished themselves in local and coastal sailing events, as well as, in international offshore races and national and international one-design events. Our cruising sailors have won many a raft-up party, too. Motor boating events have consisted of predicted log races, cruises, raft-ups, rendezvous, and boat parades. The club is home to fishing tournaments, too. Motor boaters have also served as support for many PYC sailing events and join in on raft-up activities and club cruises. The PYC Junior Sailing and Summer Sailing Camp program is one of the best sailing instruction and coaching programs for youth in the Southeast
