Description
I'm installing a heat pump and I need someone to lower my existing furnace to create space for the evaporator coil.
Work would include:
- disconnecting gas line (no need to reinstall, I have a couple of gas line projects that can be done altogether)
- remove sheet metal underneath furnace
- cut into side of furnace to allow air to flow into the side of the furnace instead of upflow as it does now
- PVC exhaust pipe would need to be extended
- whatever sheet metal work that needs to be done on the underneath to make it connect
- condensate pump would likely need to be moved to the other side
- looks like there is enough slack in the thermostat cable so nothing to do there
Let me know if you would like any alternate picture angles and I can send them to you. The work can be done anytime this week, day or evening, the earlier in the week the better. If you can do gas line work, you can take that job too but not necessary.
Can pay flat rate or hourly. This can be a side job, weekend or after-hours work, I don't care. No warranty is necessary.
