Santos Industrial is a specialty trade contractor and metal fabrication company. We are looking to fill a key role within our organization. Main responsibilities are to perform mechanical installations for dust collection systems, machinery, and metal fabrication to support equipment. We are looking for a highly skilled person that can work autonomously with supporting apprentices. We have positions for experienced welder/fabricators and millwrights. There is opportunity for growth in wage and responsibility, if so inclined. Shop Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (6:00 am starts during high heat) Installation Hours: Monday – Friday, as early as 5:00 am through 6:00 pm (Occasional Saturdays) • 5 years experience in at least one of the disciplines, fabricator or millwright. • Valid CDL with a good record - 0 - 1 point, no accidents • Company provided safety training Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Planning and preparation of projects • Meeting production timelines while ensuring performance with quality and safety • Promote a positive work environment • Display proper use of tools and equipment • Maintain assigned company equipment and vehicles • Demonstrates safe work practices and good housekeeping • Daily job reporting through timesheets Job-Specific Requirements include, but are not limited to: • Journeyman level experience and tooling • Math proficiency in fractions and decimals • Welding MIG/TIG • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. • Ability to perform physical labor standing, squatting, bending, and on ladders for long periods • Ability to perform physical labor while wearing PPE for long periods, when necessary and as needed • Able to walk long distances, climb stairs and ladders without distress or pain. • Ability to read posted signs and stickers, procedure manuals, and training literature • Ability to hear running equipment, alarms, and warning signals
