We are looking to rehome our dear pet Lewis (male), Great Pyrenees and lab mix, 1 yr and 2 months old. He has been with our family from the time he was 6 weeks old. He is a very caring and protective dog. We have to give him away since he is a guard dog and would be best suited for a ranch or farm house. He loves barking and chasing away the birds and squirrels. We live in a quiet neighborhood, so his loud barking is not welcomed by our neighbors, which compelled us to restrain him inside the house for most part of the day. We feel he needs to be doing what he is meant to do and be able to be freely run around and bark. If anyone is looking for a guard dog, he would be best for it.
