Management Trainee: Janitorial / Cleaning Service Five Star Janitorial is looking for a motivated Management Trainee to help perform a wide variety of janitorial and cleaning contracts in the Denver, Littleton, and Aurora area. The Management Trainee will be groomed for supervisory duties as they progress with the company. The new hire should expect to roll up their sleeves and perform janitorial contracts in the field each and every day. Company Owner will work with Trainee over time to teach them how to supervise and manage jobs with increasing responsibilities. If strong leadership is shown, Trainee may be promoted to Field Manager after 9 months. Cleaning and Management Duties Cleaning duties include, but are not limited to: • trash pick-up on grounds/common areas • sweeping/blowing stairwells • graffiti removal • clubhouse cleaning • light bulb replacement • window washing • vacuuming • dusting • collection and disposal of trash • restroom cleaning • pet waste management/removal Management duties, in addition to cleaning duties, may include, but are not limited to: • Field meetings with Company Owner to discuss business and management • Supervising contract completion by other employees • Doing quality control by inspecting work completed by other employees • Keeping work environment positive • Communicating concerns up the chain • Transporting supplies to other employees in the field Trainee Salary: $15.00-$18.00 / hr depending on experience, plus monthly bonus potential Field Manager Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 / hr (if promoted after Training Period) Job Requirements: Must be a team player Prior Cleaning Experience preferred (but not required) Must have cell phone, a valid driver’s license, vehicle, proof of car insurance Background Check Sober while performing duties and traveling between jobs Must be able to lift 45 lbs. overhead occasionally Schedule: 30-35 hours/week Benefits: Holiday pay, eligible for quarterly bonus opportunity, mileage, annual performance and salary review Five Star Janitorial Inc. has been providing services to property management companies and property complexes in the metro Denver area for over 10 years.
