Description
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —It's a gorgeous day to hit the surf. Here's an update on surf conditions from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.
Look for a mix of short-period NW swell and long-period SSW/S swell rolling this morning. Winds are light and variable and the tide is ebbing out to a -0.7' low at 7:30 a.m.
This morning's outlook is for waves to mainly be in the thigh-waist-stomach high range, while top combo breaks in the northern half of the bay hit chest high.
For the rest of the day, the surf size will hold fairly steady, but moderate west winds are expected from late morning through the afternoon to ruffle conditions.
The onshores will then ease by the evening. The tide will rise to a 4' high at 2:25 p.m., then dip to a 2.5' low at 7:05 p.m.
Enjoy and stay safe!
