We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working, and quick-on-their-feet sales representatives to send to various sporting events as an apparel vendor. Our company offers the customers a wide range of different types of apparel, which we customize onsite by printing various types of sport specific logos with a heat-press. Most of these events take place on the weekends, sometimes spilling over into Friday or Monday. Someone who has attended or competed in a swim meet, a soccer or lacrosse tournament, a rowing or a martial arts competition, will have a pretty good idea of how these events are run. How the process works: Our office and shop staff, prepare for multiple events during the week. During this time the logo is being designed and printed, and the t-shirts and other supplies are being packed for each event. Usually on Friday the sales associate would take a van assigned to a specific event, drive to the event location, setup a booth, and sell the apparel to the competitors and spectators. These events take place all over south FL, mostly in Orlando, Tampa bay, Miami, and some in the Jacksonville area. Expenses that are covered by Fine Designs: The hotel room (for events that are not local), and gas is reimbursed at the end of the event. Compensation: -The pay for the onsite training is $75 per day onsite. -After the onsite session, the trainee will be ready to handle a small event by themselves, at which point the pay is $160 minimum per day or 10% from gross sales (which ever is greater) + tips. At an average weekend event, you can expect to make around $400, with a potential of over $600+ at larger events. *The events usually last all day from early morning to evening, depending on the sport type. *Events are assigned on a case by case basis. We do our best to assign as many events as each sales representative would like to take on. Requirements: - Excellent customer service and sales skills. - Critical thinking skills. - The ability to maintain a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor in a high paced environment. - A quick learner. - Being able to lift up to 60 pounds when setting up the sales booth. - At least 18 years old. - Physically fit to be able to work outdoors in the heat with long hours (some events are indoors). - Must submit to a pre-employment drug screening.
