Description
GLENDORA, CA — Glendora's Community Services Commission is holding a photo contest to give local photographers a chance to have their work featured on the cover of a city publication.
Organizers are searching for photographs that best show off life in the city, from its outdoor spaces to local businesses. The deadline to enter the contest is July 9 and no entry fee is required.
Winners of the contest will be recognized at a commission meeting and will also receive a prize ranging from $50 to $200, according to the contest's organizers. Winning photographs will also be considered for the cover of the city's Fall 2021 activity guide or the Glendora Report, bi-monthly newsletter to Glendora residents.
Entries will be accepted in these three categories: outdoors, pets and hometown pride, organizers said.
Outdoor photographs can include wildlife, scenic views or hiking in Glendora. Pet photos must be taken at a location in the city or at the South Hills dog park. Hometown pride photographs can feature local landmarks, people, businesses or other recognizable locations in the city.
Photographers can submit their entries by emailing [email protected] and must include the photo, the title of the photo, the photographer's name and contact info.
