Description

Are you a string player, a brass or wind player or a percussionist? Do you have talent but need a place and community to play with? Do you want to meet and perform with other accomplished DC area musicians? Then come join us, DC Strings! DC Strings Workshop connects to music through the presentation of concerts, recitals, and educational opportunities throughout the DC metropolitan area, particularly underserved communities. The DC Strings orchestra has performed at THE KENNEDY CENTER, museums, local libraries, and countless corporate events. Since our founding in 2017, the organization has presented over 100 concerts. Our performances have spanned sacred music, classical, gogo, funk and a variety of other musical styles. https://www.dcstrings.org/ The orchestra and its various affiliated ensembles also perform with guest artists and have concerts at various DC area locations all year long. Auditions for the upcoming season are 8/7 and 8/14. The location is TBD, so stay tuned. We hope to see you there!
