LANSING, MI — No new outbreaks of the coronavirus were reported by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on Monday, the first time the state has failed to report at least a single new outbreak since the state began releasing such information midway through the pandemic. The news is probably encouraging to many Michiganders, who have seen the state report dozens of new outbreaks during some weeks.
