Description
MONTGOMERY, AL — The push to get as many Alabamians registered to vote for the 2022 elections now involves Alabama native and country music star Riley Green.
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill released a video from Green encouraging Alabama residents to not only register to vote, but also obtain a state-issued government ID.
Alabamians can receive a free voter photo ID by visiting their county board of registrars office or the Secretary of State's Office. In addition, the Secretary of State's Office visits each county at least once annually to issue free photo IDs and register voters.
The list of upcoming mobile ID locations can be found online. Alabamians may register to vote online, through the mobile app "Vote for Alabama," or by visiting their county board of registrars office.
