ESTABLISHED Austin band seeking another guitarist/vocalist

We are a fusion Reggae/Rock/Americana group. Think Texas-flavored Sublime, or if Cross Canadian Ragweed formed a reggae band instead of country group. We are currently a tight 3 piece, we add in horns/background vocals depending on the gig. This is 100% original music for 1hr to 1.5 hr sets. For 3 hour gigs, expect maybe 40% covers of literally anything, blues, rock, reggae etc. We play to the crowd. We have the connections and the gigs NOW. Rainey St, West 6th, Dirty 6th, stuff towards College Station etc. If there is a place we aren't playing, we are confident we can get in touch and get something booked. Ideally booking 2 weekend shows a month, practices once a week in South Austin at Space. Need someone who is a gearhead who is obsessed with their sound. Pedal effects like reverbs, delays, loops. Bare min need to be able to play rhythm guitar and sing harmonies. If you can do more, you'll get opportunities to sing and play leads depending on the songs/setting. Big plus if you have keyboards and can do that to, but we understand that's more of a unicorn. Most important is just knowing how to hit that reggae skank. Average age among us would be late 20s, so preferably someone on the younger side, but we don't care if you are gay/straight white, black, yellow, girl boy or inbetween. If you have that rockstar heart, and have some stage presence and charisma, we want you! Not really looking for a hired gun. We all have jobs and try to just reinvest 100% of the money back towards marketing and studio time. There will be opportunities for you to get paid later on, for while we are comfortable in that we get solid gigs now, we are still very much forward thinking and trying to build on our sound and our fan base in town and across Texas. We want someone who wants to grow and help define this sound/niche. July is a weird time for us as a few of us will be out of town, but we will try to have you over for something casual to see how you gel with the music, no actual rehearsals until we both feel sold on moving forward.
