ECHO Shelter Atascadero is currently looking for volunteers to help with the Campus Monitor shift on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:00pm-6:15pm and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00pm-6:15pm. Position Description: Campus Monitors help provide a friendly layer of supervision to our outdoor dining area during our nightly meal program. If any issues arise during program hours, the Campus Monitor would alert the Shelter Manager immediately. This position is a great opportunity for volunteers to interact directly with the clients in a friendly and supportive manner. Campus monitoring can satisfy court-mandated community service hours- ECHO is a non-profit 501(c) Training Description: Orientation and training provided on shift. Volunteer Requirements: Must enjoy working with others in a supportive role. ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the unhoused men, women, and children in SLO County, 365 nights a year.
