Volunteers for Pack Monadnock 10-miler, Aug 21

The Gate City Striders are looking for volunteer groups willing to hand out water to thirsty runners as they undertake the arduous, 10-mile trek from the Wilton/Lymeborough High School to the Summit of Pack Monadnock on August 21st. There will likely be three water stops (approximately miles 3, 6, and 9) and the race will start at 8 am with the last finishers past the last water stop no later than two hours later. Ideally we would have at least ten people at each of the three water stops. Gate City Striders will provide and set up/tear down tables, water coolers, and cups -- we just need groups to fill and hand out water to the runners. Volunteer organizations would be welcome to put up signage or banners to advertise their contribution to the event.
