Job offers year-round work for tree work, landscape, and commercial snow removal. We pay based on experience and are in the need of the following position: Job Description: Landscape foreman are considered working foreman. Foreman are responsible for supervising and performing landscape services and preservation work. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Foremen are responsible for the daily supervision, scheduling, and quality control of each job. Additional duties include: • Instructs and assigns Laborers in landscape work; • Supervises all landscape projects; • Oversees the handling of machinery and coordinates traffic direction (if needed); • Supervises and performs planting, cultivating, transplanting, pruning, and shearing of shrubs and decorative trees, • Uses, tools and equipment in landscape activities; • Operates machinery such as skid steers, track loaders, hedge trimmers, brush chippers, stump grinders, etc. to maintain decorative trees and shrubs; • Performs daily inspection and routine maintenance on equipment used; • Use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments. • Working as part of a team. • All operations, job sites and employees are safe and that the general public which might come into contact with the area will be safe. • Communicating effectively with other crew members and the public. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of 2 years’ experience • Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often. • Dependable and able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters. • Valid Driver’s License. PREFERRED SKILLS • Chauffer’s Driver’s License. • CDL Driver’s License would be a plus. • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
