GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Build audio snakes and cables from the reel to finished packaged form for retail delivery. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare multi-conductor cable for termination. - Mechanical assembly using various hand tools and automation equipment. - Read build notes. - Assemble parts using a soldering iron. - Test finished products. - Package products for retail. - All other functions/responsibilities assigned by supervisor. - Follow quality control procedures. MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Clean work station. - Stock parts. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: Education: - High School Diploma or GED Key competencies: - Basic soldering experience - Ability to learn quickly and understand build notes - Work under strict deadlines - Use of basic hand tools PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Lift up to 75lb reel - Ability to work at a bench for extended periods of time.
