Responsibilities
• Every assignment is different, field assignments can vary from installing glass on a chandelier, switching out wiring or drivers on fixtures, possibly touching up paint and many other assignments.
• Checking the job site conditions including but not limited to work area, product, tools, and equipment needed
• Getting critical information back to the factory support team so that any parts, materials, and or supplies can get to the site on a timely basis
• Documenting your work with pictures
Key Qualifications
• You must have good communications skills, including communication with apps
• You must not be afraid of heights. Often field work is performed many feet up in the air on a scissor lift.
• You must have the ability to be away at job sites for extended periods of time
• Experience with outlook, and other Microsoft office apps
• Some electrical experience
• Some Mechanical experience is helpful
• Ability to read blueprints
Physical and Environmental Elements:
• This is a Warehouse classification. Employees are exposed to moderate noise levels, with occasional loud noises, such as honking of horns, and may have exposure to fumes, (such as from forklift equipment and vehicles), and may have some exposure to hazardous physical substances. While performing the duties of this job, finger and hand dexterity is needed. The position regularly walks, stands, bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls, lifts and carries materials that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
