My bike fell off my bike rack a little before 7 pm tonight on highway 89 going north towards Sierraville. I noticed pretty quickly and turned around, but just found one of my bike water bottles on the side of the road and no bike. It was between Prosser creek and the turnoff for Sagehen on the east side of the road. My guess is that it was in the road and whatever car was behind me picked it up... The bike is a hartdtail aluminum Specialized chisel, baby blue and red. I love it and ride it almost every day. I feel real dumb and sad and wish I'd gotten a nicer bike rack.
