Highland Baptist Church Presents Salute to America - Free Community 4th of July Celebration
Redmond, Ore -- Highland Baptist Church is set to host Salute to America, a free community Independence Day celebration on July 4, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Salute to America will be hosted at Highland Baptist Church located at 3100 SW Highland Avenue in Redmond, Ore. This free event is open to all members of the community and will feature food, festivities, live music performances by local artists and musicians, and patriotic celebrations. Redmond High School JROTC will perform the presentation of the flag.
The schedule of events for Salute to America is as follows:
5:00 p.m.: Kids Water Slides Open | Food is Served (hot dogs, watermelon, bottled water, and chips)
6:00 p.m. Patriotic Celebration Begins
Attendees will receive an ice cream gift at the end of the Salute to America celebration. Fireworks will not be allowed during the event.
“Salute to America is a celebration of all that's right with America,” shared Barry Campbell, HIghland Baptist Church Lead Pastor. “There are times when we think about things in America that need to change and this is a time to celebrate what we love about this country. We hope our community will join us for Salute to America this Fourth of July.”
No registration is required to attend Salute to America. Guests may park in the church parking lot and walk to the big open air tent in the field to participate.
