We have a wonderful one and a half year old (born Nov 18th 20019) spayed female Jack Russel to re-home. Her name is Chemo. We got her from a dire situation at the age of four weeks old! She has grown up in a hectic but loving home. She has been raised with other dogs, not sure how she will be with cat (but I am sure she would do well if introduced correctly, and the cat is not a runner). She has a VERY strong prey drive and plays hard. She is eager to please, and corrects exceedingly well. Good on leash when nothing too exciting is near. She is super sweet, but shy and gets intimidated easy (think she will out grow it as she gets older, but will need an understanding person till then). She is wonderful with my four year old, and they are best friends. It breaks our heart to re-home her, but we are moving to a situation where we can only have two dogs, and I have to bring my two older ones who have been with me for so long. Her new owner needs to know how dogs and this breed react and how to handle situations. Or be willing to learn. Someone that is not gone all day. She is used to having someone around most of the day. Preferably an family with children and other pets she can play with. She is crate trained and happily goes in it on her own. She will come with food so you can transition to what you use (we use Kirkland Nature Domainn Grain Free). She will also come the her supplies: crate, bed, leash, collar, walking harness, and some toys. I ask that I can check the home/life situation before handing her over. I would be more that willing to help the transition process. It would help me as well. And a promise that if ANYTHING ever happens that you would contact me so I could get her back. She is called Chemo because she is my strong medicine that helped me heal when I went through cancer treatment and surgery. We gave her a great start, but now it's time for her to move on, and hopefully hear others.
