Top Shelf Remodel is looking to hire a flooring installer and/or flooring installers helper. We are looking for quality candidates that are driven, punctual, goal oriented, take initiative and have a good work ethic. TSR offers steady work, opportunities, and room for advancement. Pay depends on experience. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel. Jobs can be anywhere from Lafayette to Lake Charles. Gas per diem is offered depending the distance. This is a 1099 job, you will be responsible for your own taxes at the end of the year. Duties Include: • Demolition of existing flooring • Repairs/preparation to flooring substrate • Layout of flooring project • Installation of a wide range of flooring materials including wood, tile, vinyl plank and other specialty products • Carpentry trim work at walls and doors Skills Required: • Ability to identify and know how to work with different types of flooring materials • Ability to use hand tools including tape measure, hammer, razor knife • Ability to use equipment and tools unique to each type of flooring being installed • Ability to follow procedures and process of floor installation • Ability to work on hands and knees to install flooring products • Excellent organizational skills, trouble shooting abilities, efficient, and thorough
