Management company seeking musicians to put together and develop (or support if already a band) a Classic Rock Party Band Trio to present to talent buyers. Fully formed, already performing small shows and experienced Trios (guitar, bass, drums) accepted and a plus. Long Term commitment a must to allow band to grow musically, build relationships within the band, and fulfill future gig commitments. No fly by night for-hire musicians! Seeking to form or support a Trio ( guitar, bass, drums ) with at least one Lead Singer and at least one Background/Harmony vocalist from band members. (Added guitarist/singer is welcome.) A plus if everyone can sing and do harmonies! Must have extensive repertoire in rockin’ Classic Rock & Oldies party cover songs everyone knows and loves from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s... (including some Motown and Soul classics). Must also be open to learning the occasional 90s and contemporary Pop/Rock hits as well (and possibly some original music at some point toas a treat to fans). Excellent Musicianship is a must! (Vocals on pitch. Drummer in the pocket, with guitars and bass knowing the music like the recordings.) Must be available Weeknights for a rehearsal and Weekends for shows and gigs. (If you work on weekends and your day job is not flexible enough during the week then don’t bother applying.) Must have transportation for travel and be willing to travel around the tri-state area for gigs. (At least one person must have sound equipment and sound system for set up at private and corporate event gigs.) Willingness to learn new material, review set lists with management, take direction and suggestions from management and understand the importance of social media marketing and willingness to get help with it. Must have a kind and fun personality and be personable, professional, reliable, and respectful both on and off stage. Must look good in a button down shirt and suit when needed. Please have a pleasant, professional, and marketable look. Must be open to promotional photo shoots, live video shoots, and studio recording in NYC and Long Island as well as rehearsing once a week when needed. Serous inquiries only.
